Abstract:
The present invention preferentially displays an error related to a drum cartridge from among error information related to the drum cartridge and a toner cartridge. The present invention provides an image forming device comprising a device body, a drum cartridge, a toner cartridge, a display, and a control unit. The drum cartridge has a photoreceptor drum and a drum memory, and is attachable/detachable to/from the device body. The toner cartridge has a developing roller and a toner memory, and is attachable/detachable to/from the drum cartridge. When the control unit determines that an error exists in the drum cartridge and also an error exists in the toner cartridge, the control unit preferentially displays on the display the existence of the error in the drum cartridge than the existence of the error in the toner cartridge (S301 to S314).
