Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing device, an imaging device, an image processing method, and a program, which enable high dynamic range processing in which a photographer's intention is reflected. This image processing device (31) is provided with: a photometric mode information acquisition unit (101) which acquires photometric mode information indicative of a photometric mode to be determined from among a plurality of photometric modes; an area-of-interest setting unit (103) which sets out, on the basis of the photometric mode information, an area of interest used to calculate a representative luminance value to be employed in high dynamic range processing; a first luminance calculation unit (105) which calculates a representative luminance on the basis of information on the luminance within the area of interest set out by the area-of-interest setting unit; and a first condition determination unit (107) which determines, on the basis of the representative luminance value calculated by the first luminance calculation unit, a first condition for high dynamic range processing.
