Abstract:
An imaging device of one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a semiconductor substrate which has a first surface and a second surface that face one another, on which a plurality of pixels are disposed in the shape of a matrix, and which comprises a plurality of photoelectric conversion units for generating, by photoelectric conversion, a charge for each of the pixels, said charge corresponding to an amount of received light; a first lens provided to each of the pixels; a second lens provided, between the semiconductor substrate and the first lens, to each of the photoelectric conversion units; a first separation part that is provided between adjacent photoelectric conversion units in a pixel, and that optically separates the adjacent photoelectric conversion units; and a second separation part that is provided between adjacent pixels, that optically separates the adjacent pixels, and that protrudes further out in a light incidence direction than the first separation part.
