Abstract:
The present invention provides an information output device and an information output method which enable a user to recognize information related to the speed of an approaching vehicle. The information output device includes: a reception unit for receiving a radio wave of a frequency band for inter-vehicle communication; and an output unit for changing the output format of the vehicle approach information in accordance with the rate of increase in the received power of the radio wave.
