The objective of the present invention is to make it possible to perform data analysis and search processes that employ device set definition information, which is definition information relating to a device set unit consisting of a plurality of devices. This data processing system includes: a data providing apparatus which generates device set definition information, which is definition information relating to a device set unit consisting of a plurality of devices, and registers the same in a database; and a data analyzing apparatus and a data utilizing apparatus which acquire the device set definition information from the database, and execute a data analysis process or search process employing the acquired device set definition information. Performing data analysis and search processes employing the device set definition information makes it possible to improve processing efficiency and to generate various analysis results.
