Abstract:
The present invention enables, simply and at low cost, control in which a moving body, such as an autonomous guided vehicle, is prevented from entering into a specific location. A mask region setting unit sets a mask region where smoothing is not administered on a three-dimensional point group outputted from a distance measurement sensor that measures distance by accumulating reflected light and detecting a phase difference between irradiated light and reflected light, such setting carried out on the basis of an intensity image outputted by the distance measurement sensor. A smoothing filter processor administers a smoothing process on a three-dimensional point group outputted from the distance measurement sensor. In this case, the three-dimensional point group in the set mask region is not smoothed and is output as is. A three-dimensional point group pertaining to a depth detection error can be left only in a required region of the three-dimensional point group that has undergone a smoothing process, and by utilizing this feature, control in which a moving body, such as an autonomous guided vehicle, is prevented from entering into a specific location, for example, can be realized simply and at low cost.
