Abstract:
Provided is a network system capable of easily acquiring equipment information about a desired piece of equipment, using short-range wireless communication, even if a plurality of pieces of equipment are disposed. In this network system, if notifications by short-range wireless communication from a plurality of short-range wireless communication devices are detected, a portable terminal device (7) performs target equipment selection for estimating and selecting a piece of equipment to serve as a target, from among a plurality of pieces of equipment linked, respectively, to the plurality of short-range wireless communication devices. The portable terminal device (7) acquires, through the network, equipment information about the piece of equipment selected through target equipment selection.
