Abstract:

Provided are an inhibitor for sorting molybdenum-bismuth ores and an application method therefor. The method comprises: firstly, introducing an oxidant into flotation pulp, and selectively oxidizing the surface of a bismuth mineral to form free bismuth ions on the surface thereof; and then introducing a chlorine-containing compound, and forming a hydrophilic bismuth oxychloride layer on the surface of the bismuth mineral by means of a complexing and hydrolysis effect of bismuth ions and chloride ions, so as to achieve the aim of inhibiting the bismuth mineral from floating upward. The inhibitor is used for sorting work of molybdenum-bismuth ores, the inhibition effect generated by the inhibitor is stronger than that generated by a traditional inhibitor, the selectivity is better, molybdenum minerals and bismuth minerals can be fully separated, and the flotation index of a molybdenum concentrate is increased. The application method is easy to operate, while the defects of a traditional toxic inhibitor being used in a large dose, having a harsh operation environment, causing serious environmental pollution and being harmful to the human body are overcome; and a flotation process is simplified, flotation reagents are reduced, the reagent amount is reduced, the separation effect is good, the environmental pollution is low, and industrial application is facilitated.
