Abstract:
An insertion apparatus, wherein a tip-forming part of a flexible tube to be inserted into a tube opening holds a high-frequency treatment instrument for performing a high-frequency current treatment. The insertion apparatus is provided with a first cover comprising an insulative elastoplastic material and fastened to the tip-forming part by a fastening part, is further provided with an electrically insulated section provided in the outer-circumferential region at the junction between the tip-forming part and the flexible tube, and also has a second cover which is tightly adhered to the first cover and to the electrically insulated section, is mounted so as to impart an elastic pressure thereto, and prevents external leakage of the high-frequency current.
