Abstract:
An internal combustion engine ignition device (10) is provided with a spark plug (1) including an auxiliary combustion chamber (50) in which a discharge gap (G) is arranged. A plug cover (5) covering the auxiliary combustion chamber (50) is provided with injection holes (51) providing communication between the auxiliary combustion chamber (50) and a main combustion chamber (11) of the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine ignition device (10) is configured to apply a pre-discharge voltage for generating a pre-discharge across the discharge gap (G) during the intake stroke of the internal combustion engine.
