Abstract:
Disclosed is an inverted pendulum-type vehicle controller that allows the inverted pendulum-type vehicle to be easily moved in an intended direction. One end of a cord-like body (C) is coupled to a sheet (3) in an inverted pendulum-type vehicle (1) by way of an engaging portion (4), and the tension in the cord-like body (C) is detected by a tri-axial force sensor. A required center-of-gravity velocity generation unit (74) determines required center-of-gravity velocities (Vb_x_aim,Vb_y_aim) in response to the detected tension in the cord-like body (C), and a control operation amount is determined in accordance therewith.
