Title:
KEYLESS ENTRY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/031524
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a keyless entry device that can easily distinguish between a request signal from an unauthorized relay device and a legitimate request signal transmitted from an in-vehicle device. [Solution] An in-vehicle device is provided with an in-vehicle controller for controlling transmission of request signal, and carrying out a prescribed control in response to authentication based on an answer signal. A mobile device is provided with a mobile device controller for detecting reception strength information for a request signal transmitted by the in-vehicle device, and transmitting an answer signal that is based on the reception strength. The in-vehicle controller controls an in-vehicle transmitter so as to transmit request signals that include determination signals that differ in strength level for each of a number of zones, and the in-vehicle controller or mobile device controller determines, on the basis of fluctuations of the reception strength of determination signals within each zone as received by the mobile device, whether a request signal is a legitimate signal.
