Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a protective material. [Solution] The present invention relates to a laceration preventing protective material characterized by having a pile portion comprising high-strength fiber. In addition, the present invention relates to laceration prevention equipment for use by a chainsaw operator and using the laceration preventing protective material. According to the present invention, since there is a pile portion comprising high-strength fiber, the length per strand of high-strength fiber is sufficiently long and there will be a large volume of fiber that will be tangled and drawn out by a rotating blade the instant the blade comes into contact therewith, thereby enabling the rotating blade to be stopped earlier than in the prior art and preventing injuries.
