Abstract:
This laser module (20) comprises a first LD (31) emitting first light (L1), a second LD (32) emitting second light (L2), a collimating lens (36), (37), and a wavelength combining element (45). The wavelength combining element (45) reflects the first light (L1) in a prescribed direction and overlays the second light (L2) onto the first light (L1) and emits the same in the prescribed direction. The fast axis of the first light (L1) incident on the wavelength combining element (45) is parallel to a first plane, and the fast axis of the second light (L2) incident on the wavelength combining element (45) is parallel to a second plane. The first plane and the second plane pass through all sections of the first light (L1) from a mirror (44A2) up until the wavelength combining element (45) and all sections of the first light (L1) from the wavelength combining element (45) up until a first condenser lens (46).
