Abstract:
This light acquisition sheet comprises: a plurality of light-transmitting sheets each having a first and a second main surface; and a plurality of optical coupling structures arranged inside each of the plurality of light-transmitting sheets, and separated by at least a first and second distance, respectively, from the first and second main surfaces. Each of the plurality of optical coupling structures includes a first light-transmitting layer, a second light-transmitting layer, and a third light-transmitting layer sandwiched therebetween. The refractive index for the first and second light-transmitting layers is smaller than the refractive index for the light-transmitting sheets, and the refractive index for the third light-transmitting layer is greater than the refractive index for the first and second light-transmitting layers. The third light-transmitting layer has a diffraction grating parallel to the first and second main surfaces of the light-transmitting sheets.
