Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a linear motor and an automation apparatus. The linear motor comprises a mover, a stator and a guiding assembly. The guiding assembly comprises a first guiding portion and a second guiding portion cooperating with each other for guiding. One of the first guiding portion and the second guiding portion is disposed on the mover, and the other is disposed on the stator. The first guiding portion and the second guiding portion can contact each other by sliding with respect to each other in a moving direction of the mover to define a uniform gap formed between the stator and the mover. The technical solution of the present invention does not need to provide external guide rails and support structures for a linear motor, thus simplifying the overall structural design and reducing the weight thereof.
