Abstract:

Provided is a liquid cosmetic composition that contains a small amount of a luminescent lamellar pigment and, even when loaded onto an applicator that has an application part such as a pointed brush and applied to an application surface such as the skin, can easily produce a bright, luminescent coating film, without the lamellar pigment overlapping.　This liquid cosmetic composition is characterized by containing 0.01–10 mass% of a lamellar pigment that is coated with a compound selected from at least group A, 0.05–5 mass% of layered clay mineral particles, 1–20 mass%, in terms of solid content, of an acrylic copolymer, and water. The liquid cosmetic composition is also characterized in that the liquid cosmetic composition is to be loaded onto an applicator that comprises an application part that has a pointed brush.　Group A: cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, chitin, chitosan.
