Abstract:
This liquid crystal display device includes a first display panel that displays a color image, and a second display panel that displays a black-and-white image. The first display panel includes: a first substrate; a second substrate disposed at a position closer to the second display panel than the first substrate; a first liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a first black matrix disposed between the first substrate and the first liquid crystal layer. The second display panel includes: a third substrate; a fourth substrate disposed at a position closer to the first display panel than the third substrate; a second liquid crystal layer disposed between the third substrate and the fourth substrate; and a second black matrix disposed between the third substrate and the second liquid crystal layer.
