Abstract:
A pixel array (100) for a liquid crystal display device, wherein the liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines (D1-DN), and the pixel array (100) comprises a plurality of pixel cells (R, G, B). The plurality of pixel cells (R, G, B) consists of a plurality of even pixel rows (G2) and a plurality of odd pixel rows (G1), and is connected to the plurality of data lines (D1-DN), respectively. When N is greater than 2, the Nth data line (DN) in the plurality of data lines (D1-DN) is connected to the Nth column of pixel cells in the plurality of odd pixel rows (G1), and the Nth data line (DN) is connected to the (N-2)th column of pixel cells (R, G, B) in the plurality of even pixel rows (G2), wherein N is a positive integer. When N is smaller than or equal to 2, the Nth data line (DN) is not connected to any of the pixel cells (R, G, B) in the plurality of even pixel rows (G2). The present invention is used for solving the problems of streaks, flickers, grids and the like occurring after a two pixel rendering (TPR) technology is applied.
