Abstract:
Provided is a lithium ion secondary battery which includes: a positive electrode which contains, as the positive electrode active substance, a compound oxide that contains lithium and nickel and that has a lamellar crystal structure; a negative electrode which contains a graphite material as the negative electrode active substance; and an electrolyte. The lithium ion secondary battery has a Warburg coefficient (σ0) per charge capacity as found by the alternating impedance method of 0.005 or less.
