Abstract:
Provided is a low-frequency breaker, which is simple in constitution, small as a whole and advantageous for cost. The low-frequency breakers (5U, 5V and 5W) are constituted by connecting semiconductor switches (53U, 53V and 53W) and mechanical switches (54U, 54V and 54W) in parallel. The semiconductor switches (53U, 53V and 53W) are constituted by connecting thyristors (51U, 51V and 51W) and thyristors (52U, 52V and 5W) in inverse-parallel with each other. These are controlled by a breaker control circuit (7).
