Provided is a lubricant composition, which in addition to being low-friction and inert with respect to polyamide resins, and the like, has excellent heat resistance and shows no reduction in or loss of any of said properties in a short amount of time when used under a high-temperature environment in particular. Also provided are a speed reduction device that uses this composition and a power steering device.  The lubricant composition comprises a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, a urea thickener, lead stearate, and a sulfur antioxidant.  Said lubricant composition is filled in a speed reduction device (18) at the part where a small gear (19) and a large gear (20) mesh. By means of an electric power steering device (1), the speed of the output from an electric motor (17) for auxiliary steering is reduced and transmitted to a steering mechanism (9) via the speed reduction device (18).
