Abstract:
A magnetic marker (1) laid in a track on which a vehicle travels, the magnetic marker (1) comprising: a 100-mm-diameter circular magnet sheet (10) that is a magnet used as a source of magnetism; and a reflective sheet (15) constituting a reflection element that retro-reflects a laser beam emitted from a lidar unit mounted on the vehicle, said reflection unit being layered on the front surface of the magnet sheet (10). Since it is possible not only to perform magnetic detection using the magnetic sensor, but also to allow the lidar unit to perform detection using the laser beam, detection is easier than with a typical magnetic marker capable of magnetic detection alone.
