Abstract:
This entrance/exit management system comprises: a first biometric information reading device that is installed at an entrance gate of a zone for which user entry is managed, and that reads biometric information; a first reader device that is installed at the entrance gate and reads ID information of a wireless tag; an authentication unit that authenticates the biometric information read by the first biometric information reading device, by collating said biometric information with pre-registered biometric information having entry authority, and that establishes a link between said biometric information and the ID information read by the first reader device; a plurality of second reader devices installed within the zone such that the wireless tag ID information reading regions differ; and a position identification unit that identifies the position of the user within the zone, on the basis of the ID information read by the second reader devices.
