Title:
MARKER PEPTIDE FOR DETERMINING RISK OF DEVELOPING METABOLIC SYNDROME AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/108561
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a marker substance that is capable of accurately determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome in a human body. In other words, the present invention provides the following: marker peptides for determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome; antibodies or aptamers that bind to the marker peptides for determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome; a microarray in which antibodies or aptamers that bind to the marker peptides for determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome are immobilized on a support; a method for determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome by measuring the amount or presence/absence of the marker peptides for determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome in a biological sample obtained from a subject; and a kit for determining the risk of developing metabolic syndrome that contains the antibodies or the aptamers, or the microarray.
