Abstract:
A mat fastener (10) for restraining the movement of a mat placed on a carpet provided on a vehicle panel wherein a first fixing member (20) is fixed to the carpet. A second fixing member is fixed to the mat. A manipulable attachment member (80) is for attaching the second fixing member to the first fixing member (20). The first fixing member (20) comprises a support part (26) that supports the manipulable attachment member (80) and an engaging part for holding the second fixing member. The second fixing member comprises a secured part that is secured to the manipulable attachment member (80), and an engaged part that is engaged by the engaging part when the second fixing member is attached to the first fixing member (20) by the manipulable attachment member (80).
