Abstract:
A medical system comprises: a movable unit, the angle of which can be changed within a predetermined angle range; an actuator which performs drive so that the angle of the movable unit is changed by pulling of a wire; a control unit which controls the drive of the actuator; a slack detection unit which detects the drive state, that is, which detects whether or not the wire is slack; a slack adjustment unit which adjusts the slack of the wire on the basis of the result of detection by the slack detection unit; and a slack adjustment instruction input unit which inputs the instruction for the adjustment of the slack of the wire. The slack adjustment unit adjusts the slack of the wire to a predetermined state of adjustment in response to the input of the instruction for the adjustment of the slack of the wire.
