Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mesh filter provided with a filter section (4) which connects the outer peripheral surface (2a) of an inner cylinder (2) and the inner peripheral surface (3a) of an outer cylinder (3), wherein the inner cylinder (2), the outer cylinder (3), and the filter section (4) are formed integrally by injecting a molten thermoplastic resin into the cavity of a die. The portion of the filter section (4), which excludes the portions where the filter section (4) is connected to the inner cylinder (2) and the outer cylinder (3), has formed therein quadrangular openings (8) formed by longitudinal ribs (6) formed at equally-spaced intervals so as to be perpendicular to the X-axis and parallel to the Y-axis, and by transverse ribs (7) formed at equally-spaced intervals so as to be perpendicular to the longitudinal ribs (6) and parallel to the X-axis. The longitudinal ribs (6) and the transverse ribs (7) are formed such that the rib widths (L2, L3) are in the range of 0.07 to 0.1 mm, and the thicknesses (L4, L5) measured along the center axis (5) of the inner cylinder (2) is in the range of 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
