Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method for assessing network quality in video transmission in a near-field scenario, and a device. The method and the device can be used for assessing a network state in a video transmission process in scenarios such as wireless screen projection, a vehicle-mounted screen projection and multi-screen collaboration, and the method comprises: a transmission layer of a receiving end device acquiring an arrival time of a video frame being transmitted to the transmission layer, and periodically acquiring a frame arrival time sequence composed of all the arrival times within a preset duration, obtaining a frame interval time sequence according to the frame arrival time sequence, and determining a network quality level according to the frame interval time sequence, wherein the network quality level is used for reflecting the current network state. By means of the present application, a real-time network state is assessed at a transmission layer by using frame interval time sequence distribution. Since the transmission layer is between a network layer and an application layer, the transmission layer can sense a change in the network state in advance, and can accurately assess network requirements of the application layer, thereby solving the problems in the prior art of real-time network quality assessment being performed inaccurately and not being performed in a timely manner.
