Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for establishing a data transmission channel, wherein the method comprises: a first network element entity acquiring tracking collection entity (TCE) information about a TCE, wherein the TCE information at least comprises the Internet protocol (IP) address of the TCE and port information about the TCE; and the first network element entity establishing a data transmission channel for performing data transmission with the TCE according to the TCE information. By means of the present invention, the problem in the relevant art that the establishment of a data transmission channel between a network entity and a TCE fails can be solved, thereby achieving the effect of improving the success rate of the establishment of a data transmission channel between a network entity and a TCE.
