According to the present invention, compressed gas from an air compressor 56 is supplied into an inversion container 1, and an inversion pressure of a lining material 60 is formed by a gas pressure due to the compressed gas. A liquid 40 is caused to overflow from an inversion nozzle 12 and is supplied into the lining material 60, and the inversion pressure is formed by the pressure of the liquid. The inversion pressure due to the gas pressures is formed while supplying the liquid into the lining material, and the lining material is inverted by the pressures of the gas and the liquid. Even when the total length of the lining material to be inverted is increased, it is possible to effectively perform the inversion by the compressed gas.
