Abstract:

N-formyl-L-peptides of a general formula (I) are obtained by condensation of N-formyl-protected carboxyl compound of a general formula (II) with an amino acid which is protected on the carboxyl group, of a general formula (III) in the presence of the metal proteinase produced by microorganism of Bacillus genus. The condensation is carried out in an aqueous or aqueous-organic medium at pH equal to 6.0-9.0 and at a temperature of 0 to 60oC. For -A-B-X (I), For -A-OH (II), H-B-X (III), where For - formyl, A - Asp, Met, Gly, Ala, Gly-Gly, Gly-Ala, Ala-Gly, Ala-Ala, Tyr, Phe; B - Phe, Leu, Ile, Val; X - -OCH3; -OC2H5; -OCH2C6H5; -NH2; -NH-C6H5; -p-NH-C6H4-NO2 -NH-NH2; -NH-NH-C6H5.
