Abstract:
This invention provides a method for preparing a lithographic printing plate, which is of a press development type and, despite a multijob work process, has been significantly improved in a deterioration in ink drying properties and occurrence of print smearing caused by inclusion of an image forming material in a printing ink, and a printing method for the lithographic printing plate.In the method for preparing a lithographic printing plate, a lithographic printing plate material having a press-developable image forming layer is exposed to light, and at least a printing ink is supplied to the lithographic printing plate material to develop the material. The method is characterized in that the printing ink contains fats and oils having an iodine value of 110 to 150.
