Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a vinyl chloride-based polymer, comprising the steps of: preparing a vinyl chloride-based polymer by mass-polymerizing vinyl chloride-based monomers in a polymerization reactor; and injecting water and vapor into the polymerization reactor and heating same, thereby removing unreacted vinyl chloride-based monomers, wherein the injection amount of water is 0.500-5.000 parts by weight on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the vinyl chloride-based polymer.
