Abstract:
Provided are: a method that is for producing a light diffusion film, is able to easily adjust the combination of inclination angles of plate-shaped regions in a plurality of louver structure regions, increases the uniformity of the strength of diffused light in a light diffusion angle region, and is able to efficiently produce a light diffusion film that has an effectively expanded light diffusion angle region; and a light diffusion film obtained thereby. The method and the like for producing a light diffusion film having a first and second louver structure region contains the following steps (a) to (d): (a) a step for preparing a light diffusion film composition; (b) a step for applying the light diffusion film composition, forming an applied layer; (c) a step for performing a first active-energy-ray irradiation, forming the first louver structure region at the lower portion of the applied layer, and leaving a louver structure unformed region at the upper portion of the applied layer; and (d) a step for performing a second active-energy-ray irradiation, forming the second louver structure region at the louver structure unformed region.
