Abstract:
A method of producing a rare earth anisotropic bond magnet comprising a cylindrical compacted magnet body having at least four oriented areas, which have been oriented by press-compacting a thermally oriented magnetic material in semi-radial directions, on the side face of the cylinder, characterized in that, in the course of the thermal orientation, the intermediate orientation magnetic fields applied between adjacent cavities have the same main magnetic directions. According to this method, a plural number of rare earth anisotropic bond magnets can be simultaneously produced at a high efficiency.
