Abstract:
This method for separating 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and hydrogen fluoride includes a step for reducing the content of hydrogen chloride in a mixture containing hydrogen chloride, 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and hydrogen fluoride and for separating the mixture into an upper layer that contains a large quantity of hydrogen fluoride and a lower layer that contains a large quantity of 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene. This separation method can achieve rapid separation into 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and hydrogen fluoride using a simple procedure, and is therefore an industrially useful and economical method.
