An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for monitoring the internet of things of storage batteries. The method comprises: a server receives a storage-battery discharge curve collected by a data collector; the server records a discharge capacity of a storage battery in this time according to the obtained storage-battery discharge curve; and the server updates a backup capacity of the storage battery according to the discharge capacity of the storage battery in this time. By using embodiments of the present invention, after a mains failure, the backup capacity of the storage battery can be automatically regulated according to collected information, and the operating condition of the storage battery can be monitored and warning can be given, thereby improving the safety of the storage battery.
