Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for providing an advertisement through a lock screen on the basis of a message associated with an application, wherein advertisement information for an application, which corresponds to link information linked to an advertisement-related push message received by a user device is collected so as to generate an advertising content for a lock screen, and the advertising content is provided to the user device so as to display the corresponding advertising content through the lock screen. The present invention comprises: transmitting response information to an advertising service server in response to an application-related push message received by a user device from the advertising service server, and outputting, to a lock screen of the user device, an application-related advertising content which is provided from the advertising service server in response to the response information, and is added with link information and the contents of an advertisement in the push message, whereby the contents of the advertisement are provided to be viewed on the lock screen without the execution of a separate application for checking a message. Accordingly, the present invention can attract a user's attention and, at the same time, can greatly improve the effectiveness of advertising.
