Title:
MODIFIED ΑLPHA-GLUCOSIDASE AND APPLICATIONS OF SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/124520
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an α-glucosidase with dominant transglycosylation activity, and applications of the α-glucosidase. This modified α-glucosidase comprises an amino acid sequence in which one or more of the amino acids selected from the following groups have been substituted for another amino acid in the amino acid sequence of an α-glucosidase: the amino acid corresponding to amino acid position 385, 491, 535, 450, 534, 537, 538, 554, 556, 630, 683 or 689 of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, or the amino acid corresponding to amino acid position 579 or 585 of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2.
