Abstract:
Disclosed is a multistage ferrofluid sealing apparatus for a superconducting rotary machine. According to the present invention, the ferrofluid sealing apparatus, which is provided with a first ferrofluid chamber and a second ferrofluid chamber that are arranged in a multi-stage manner so as to contain a ferrofluid capable of sealing the inner portion of a superconducting rotary machine, is installed on one surface of the superconducting rotary machine. The free fluid sealing apparatus of the invention configured to have a dual structure enables two to three fluid lines to be installed in the superconducting rotary machine.
