Abstract:
Provided by the present application is a negative electrode active material used for a battery, containing negative electrode active substance particles, said negative electrode active substance particles comprising: silicon–oxygen compound particles, the silicon–oxygen compound particles containing elemental silicon nanoparticles and elemental lithium; a composite oxide cladding layer, partially or completely covered with silicon–oxygen compound particles, the composite oxide cladding layer containing a composite oxide of M metal and phosphorus, said M metal comprising elemental lithium and non-lithium metal elements. The negative electrode active material has good water resistance, and a battery made using said negative electrode active material has advantages such as good cycling performance, high energy density, high coulombic efficiency, and good rate performance.
