Abstract:
Provided is a neutralization apparatus, which is capable of making even the quantity of irradiation light to be radiated to a photosensitive drum, even if the number of LED chips of the neutralization apparatus is reduced, and with which stable image qualities can be constantly obtained without generating image failures due to light quantity unevenness. An image forming apparatus using the neutralization apparatus is also provided.
An acrylic plate cover (2) of a neutralization apparatus (1) is provided with: a first light diffusing lens (8), which is disposed on the LED chip light emitting side (6) where light to be radiated is emitted from LED chips (D); and a second light diffusing lens (9), which is disposed on the light emitting direction upper surface (5) where the LED chips (D) are arranged in an array. Light radiated from each of the LED chips (D) passes through each of the first and second light diffusing lenses (8, 9).
