Abstract:
This optical communication device comprises: an optical switch which outputs an optical signal input from one transmission line among a plurality of transmission lines to another transmission line among the plurality of transmission lines; and a control unit which assigns to the subscriber device, a wavelength according to a subscriber device and a transfer destination on a path to a communication destination, by using a control signal inserted or written by the control unit or a monitoring unit, and controls the optical switch to output the input optical signal to the other transmission line according to the communication destination, wherein the subscriber device divides the main signal of the input optical signal into at least a first partial main signal and a second partial main signal, transmits the divided main signals by inserting a control signal between the first partial main signal and the second partial main signal, or inserting a time domain for inserting the control signal by the control unit or the monitoring unit in the middle of the path, or inserting a writable signal area for overwriting by the control signal, deletes, from the received signal, the control signal or the time domain for insertion or the writable signal area for overwriting by using the control signal, combines the divided main signals, and outputs the main signal.
