Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical device for augmented reality having an outward light leakage prevention function, the optical device comprising: an image emission unit for emitting image light corresponding to an augmented reality image; at least one reflection unit for reflecting and transferring the image light corresponding to the augmented reality image, which is emitted from the image emission unit, toward the pupils of the user's eyes, thereby providing the user with the augmented reality image; and an optical means on which the reflection unit is disposed, the optical means transmitting at least a part of image light emitted from an actual object toward the pupils of the user's eyes. The at least one reflection unit is formed to have a size equal to/less than 4mm, and comprises a first surface for reflecting the image light corresponding to the augmented reality image, which is emitted from the image emission unit, towards the pupils of the user's eyes, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface is made of a light-absorbing material such that light is not reflected.
