Abstract:
An objective of the invention of the present application is to provide an optical display panel fabrication method whereby an optical cell end part is prevented from falling into a gap between adjacent conveyance rollers, and it is possible to avoid cracks or defects therein. An optical display panel (LD) fabrication method according to the present invention comprises: a conveyance step of conveying with conveyance roller parts (90) an optical cell (P) having a thickness of 0.2mm-1.0mm; an attachment part of conveying a first carrier film (12) from a first contiguous roll (1), and attaching, via an adhesive agent, to the lower face of the optical cell (P) on the side which makes contact with the conveyance roller parts (90), either a sheet fragment of an optical film which is in the process of being peeled from the first carrier film (12) or the sheet fragment (111) of the optical film which has been peeled; and a rotation step of putting the optical cell (P) whereupon the sheet fragment (111) is formed on the lower face thereof by being attached in the attachment step in a state of being rotated 90° with respect to the direction of the conveyance of the optical cell (P).
