Abstract:
An optical element is equipped with a base body and multiple structures arranged on the surface of the base body. The structures are conical recesses or projections. The structures are arranged at a pitch that is less than or equal to the wavelength band of the light in the usage environment, and the lower parts of adjacent structures are connected to each other. The effective index with respect to the depth direction of the structures gradually increases toward the base body and describes an S-shaped curve.
