Abstract:
An optical fiber scanning apparatus (15) is provided with: an optical fiber (14) that is provided with a permanent magnet (17); coil chips (50), in each of which a drive coil (63) is formed on an insulating layer (62) that is formed on a flat substrate (61), said drive coil being formed of a conductive material, and the drive coil (63) is covered with a non-conductive resin (66); and a coil unit (70) having the four coil chips (50) continuously disposed parallel to each other. The coil unit (70) is formed in a cylindrical shape by bending portions between adjacent coil chips (50), and the optical fiber (14) having the permanent magnet (17) is disposed at a position at the center of a cross-section of the cylindrical body.
