Abstract:
The present invention provides a small optical system for a stereoscopic viewing having a wide field angle and a high depth resolution, and an imaging device equipped with the optical system. The optical system for a stereoscopic viewing has a first optical system and a second optical system. The first optical system and the second optical system are the same optical system. The first optical system and the second optical system each include a front group, a diaphragm, and a rear group having a positive refractive index, in order from an object. The two front groups each have a first negative lens. The first negative lens is the front group lens closest to the object. The two diaphragms each move in a direction parallel to a plane that includes the optical axis of the first optical system and the optical axis of the second optical system. Both the diaphragms move away from the center axis or move toward the center axis. The following conditional expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied: −20.0 < FLFGn1 / IH <−0.5 (1) 1.5 < Ls / IH < 7.5 (2)
