Abstract:
The present invention accurately monitors output light from a light source. This optical transmitter multiplexes and outputs a plurality of wavelength channels, said optical transmitter comprising: a first light source (110a); one or more second light sources (110b, 110c, 110d), the wavelengths of which differ from that of the first light source (110a) and differ from each other; a plurality of collimator lenses (131a, 131b, 131c, 131d) that are respectively linked with the output from the first light source (110a) and the second light sources (110b, 110c, 110d); an optical multiplexer (120) that allows output light from the first light source (110a) to pass through from a first end surface to a facing second end surface and reflects the same using a mirror (124) formed on the second end surface, allows output light from the second light sources (110b, 110c, 110d) to pass through wavelength filters (123b, 123c, 123d) formed on the first end surface and reflects the same using the mirror (124), and reciprocates output light of each wavelength channel between the mirror (124) and the wavelength filters (123b, 123c, 123d) and sequentially multiplexes the same; and a plurality of beam splitters (153a, 153b, 153c, 153d) that are respectively inserted between the plurality of collimator lenses (131a, 131b, 131c, 131d) and the first end surface, and have an anti-reflective film formed thereon in regions corresponding to the maximum diameter of parallel light beams collimated by the collimator lenses (131a, 131b, 131c, 131d).
